- 'Bollywood International'- A Business Plan
A group project. Created and analyzed a business plan for the online rental of Indian Bollywood movies, taking on competitors like Netflix and Blockbuster. The company would partner with local Indian grocery stores, for a physical presence in some major cities. The target base is the vast Indian Diaspora in US. Eventually, the company will expand globally, to other Indian expatriate communities world-wide. Will this model work? Is it a sustainable business? Well, I took Prof.Mark Cannice's class to find that out. This business plan also won us the third place at the 2nd annual USF Internal Business Plan Competition 2007.
